OK, started setting up the site’s content by merging my notes from a few sources and writing new stuff. Still don’t feel confident or really happy with wordpress as a CMS but we will see how much of that will go away once I know more about the system.

I guess it will take about a month for the content to be in such a shape that has reached critical mass and all articles are in a state that the site deserves to be “launched”. Maybe some of the stuff is already helpful to someone but official status is under construction. If I had found a feature in wordpress to set the entire site to “under construction” while being able to build up the entire structure (e.g. somehow I can’t seem to set links to pages in draft status), I would have done so.

Most important thing now is to get some examples in the form of images and short video clips on the site and finish the skeleton of the topics I want to cover, so every page is there and contains some useful information (like sound and visual FX).

And, of course, the award for first comment by a visitor is yet to be given to someone. Wonder when that will happen ;-).
